What do you think about niche organizations like this, that help fight global warming but with a narrow focus?

Seems a bit ironic that this group of people who most likely drive hundreds if not thousands of miles per year individually to the ski resorts would be concerned about fossil fuel usage. I personally burn around 8 - 10 tanks of gasoline annually going to and from Colorado.
