Boys are confusing.?

so ive liked this 1 guy since the 7th grade. Its been 3 years now that i have known him. Our sadie hawkins dance is coming up on dec 1. So i thought i'd ask him. And i did, today. We havent really talked much this year b/c we dont have any cles together. but he knows i have liked him for so long and we tried going out in the 8th grade, but i think he dumped me after a week b/c i was to shy round him. How should i act round him? Anyway when i asked him to the dance, he was kinda rushin b/c he was runin late for his next cl. So i strait up said: will you go to sadies with me? He said: "well i'm not realy sure if im goin at this point." What does that mean. & i dont think its a no, b/c i even said that he can say no that it wont hurt my feelings, did he only say that cause he was rushing or what? im confused. The dance is in 2 weeks from tomorrow. We dont have school all next week due to thanksgiving. so i wont see him. what does this mean? shood i try askin again tomorrow?idk. HELP
