Will a co signer help me ?

you see my hubby makes ok money and i make part time money at 20,000 a year and we make 60,00 together he has ok credit and high debt to ratio.. while i have horrible credit.... the only one that would be able to help us co sign is my brother that has a good job he has had it for about 7 years but no credit well bad credit cause all there is there is a couple of collections he makes about 55,000 a yeat and no crdit cards or loans
